Mr. Malcolm A. Creek, age 83, of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

Born on May 7, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia, Malcolm was the beloved son of the late Malcolm A. Creek and Carrie Lipham Creek. He grew up in the Sylvan Hills area of Atlanta, where he formed lifelong friendships and lasting memories. After graduating high school, Malcolm attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a proud member of the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. Earning his degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Creek dedicated his career to the field of aviation, where his expertise and commitment were widely respected. His contributions left a lasting impression with all who knew him.

Malcolm was known for his remarkable ability to repair just about anything and his enduring love of tackling challenges that needed to be fixed. His dedication and inventive spirit touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn Creek; two daughters, Lori Creek and Dana Iacono; grandsons Joel (Elizabeth) Sotelo and Nicolas (McKenzie) Sotelo, and Jake (Barbara) Iacono; and 2 great-grandchildren; Sister-in-Law, Kathy Gardner; and nephew Brian Gardner. He was predeceased by his parents and grandson, Michael E. Sotelo, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Private interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 23rd, from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. at Bernhardt Funeral Home.

In accordance with the family's wishes, no food or flowers are requested at the funeral home.
