Mrs. Margie Mae Broadrick, age 78 of Ellijay,  passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Parkside Rehabilitation Center in Ellijay.

Mrs. Broadrick was born October 13, 1943 in Layfette, GA to the late Albert E. Broadrick and FannyMae Cochran Broadrick. She was a member of the Bellwood Baptist Church in Calhoun, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bolding Jr. and one son, Charles Maynard Bynum.

She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Ray Bynum and Steven Dewayne Bynum both of Ellijay; two daughters, Lisa Rena Bynum of Rome, GA, and Gloria Michelle Bynum of Jasper, GA, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, special niece and husband, Malisa and Richard Harris of Eton GA also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include:  Jackie Goble, Jackie Collins, Jimmy Sanford, Parker Brewer, Tylor Brewer, Tim Tuck, Josh Reynolds, and David Couch.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Bernhardt Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home in memory of Mrs. Broadrick.
