Ms. Marie Driskill Eubanks Hamrick, age 89 of Ellijay, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31 ^st , 2021 at her residence.

Ms. Hamrick was born June 24, 1932 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Ralph R. Driskill and Evie Satterfield Driskill. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, E.W. Hamrick; one son, Gary Eubanks; one daughter, Renee Tully; two brothers, Bobby and Tom Driskill, and one sister, Sue Driskill. Ms. Hamrick was employed by the Bank of America where she worked as a secretary and administrator. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Ellijay. Ms, Hamrick enjoyed gospel music, knitting, and being around people.

Survivors include one son, Jeffrey (Barbara) Eubanks of East Cobb, Marietta; two sisters, Louise Hendon of Smyrna and Linda Madden of Hartwell; and 5 grandchildren, Tiffany Peek, Devon Eubanks, Meagan Brown, Evie Tully, and Sasha Edwards, four great-grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Thomas and Ansley Brown, and Paige and Emma Tully; one great-great grandchild, Rita Jo Brown..

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 3 ^rd , 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Yukon Cemetery with Rev. Tom Shores officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 3 ^rd , 2022 from 11:00-12:30 at the funeral home.
