Mr. Marvin "Skip" Harris Thomason Jr., age 77 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Mr. Thomason was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 30, 1944 to the late Marvin Harris Thomason Sr. and Ruby Capehart Thomason. He was of the Baptist faith and proudly served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Thomason; two sons, Troy (Samantha) Thomason and Bobby Thomason; two step-daughters, Carrie (Chris) Couch and Christy Corum; thirteen grandchildren, Ashley Thomason, Courtney Thomason, Troy Thomason Jr, Natasha Thomason, Vanesa Thomason, Bobby Thomason Jr, Hailey Thomason, Connor Thomason, Kayden Couch, Jonah Couch, Mollie Corum, Phillip Corum, and Jacob Corum; two great grandchildren, Oliver and D.J; special friends, Nicole Lang, Jenny Parker and Dawn Thomason.

To honor his wishes, Mr. Thomason will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
