Mary Alice Melloy March 31, 1927-March 1, 2025

It is with great sorrow and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Alice Melloy, of Canton, GA on March 1, 2025, at the age of 97.

Mary Alice was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Harold Joseph Melloy. Mary Alice is survived by, Rene and Barry Carnes, Canton, Mark Chastain, Canton, Michelle Melloy Byers, Bluffton, SC, Megan Melloy, Woodstock, Mava Huth, Decatur, and Michael Melloy, Cumming. Grandchildren, Jeff and Kim Hester, Canton, Kelly Hester, Alpharetta, Allison and Shawn Irwin, Canton, Jonathan and Mandy Byers, Greenville, SC, Kristen and Collier Horton, Canton, and Cyndi Chastain, Canton, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mary Alice lived a remarkable life filled with love, travel, and cherished friendships. She will be deeply missed.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025 at 11:30 am from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
