Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Perry Bice, 92 of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 8 ^th , 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Bice was born on April 15 ^th , 1930 in Gilmer County to the late Howard Perry and Ida May Simmons Perry. Mrs. Bice was a graduate of North Georgia College where she obtained her bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry.  She served as a lab and x-ray supervisor in the Chattanooga area for several years and was the owner of the Chattanooga Plating Company. Most recently, she is remembered as a beloved and faithful bible teacher. Mrs. Bice was a member of the Nine Mile Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Wallace Bice.

Survivor's include: one son, Samuel Jacob Cash of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three daughters, Barbara Ellen Leslie of Ellijay, GA, Beverley Ann Hardeman of Ellijay, GA, and Rachel Susie Kezh of Decatur, GA; one brother and sister in law, Philip and Betty Jo Perry of Ellijay, GA; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of friends also survive.

The family will receive friends on July 2nd, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held on July 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.
