Mr. Mathew Lenn Richards, age 37 of Ellijay, GA, died Thursday, May 29th, 2025 at the Wellstar Hospice Care at Kennesaw Mountain after a lengthy battle for survival from an ATV accident.

Mr. Richards was born on December 29th, 1987, in Dalton, GA. He is the son of Lenn and Debbie Richards. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 2006. He was a member of the Covenant Community Church in Ellijay. He loved grilling, swimming with the family, and camping with his friends. He was a lot of fun to be around and made life fun for anyone who was around him. Mathew also loved his wife, his children, and all his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife; Tiffany Richards; Parents, Lenn and Debbie Richards; Daughters, Abbigail Richards, Kyleigh Rice, Aliyah Richards, Kamilah Richards, Yelena Robinson; Sister, Sarah Richards Newman, Nephew, Bryce Newman, niece, Madison Patterson, Mother and father-in-law; Melissa (Bernabe Vasquez), Bayron Vasquez, numerous extended family and friends also survive.

A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses in memory of Mr. Mathew Richards.
