Mr. Matthew Richard Johnson, age 41 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, May 1 ^st , 2023 at Erlanger Hospital.

Matthew was born on December 25 ^th , 1981 in Dover, New Jersey, the son of Greg and Betty Johnson. He loved fishing and spending time outside.

Survivors include his father and mother, Greg and Betty Johnson; grandmother, Irene Burdge; one brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kellee Johnson; two nieces, Kaylee and Rylee Johnson; three nephews, Devon Belotti, Sawyer Johnson, and Tyler Davenport, and great-nephews, Jax and Asher Jay Davenport.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 8 ^th , 2023 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hendrix officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 7 ^th , 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mr. Matthew Johnson.
