Mrs. Melinda Anne Haney Hosier, age 76 of Ellijay, passed away on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Hosier was born on January 19th, 1948, in Murphy, NC, to the late John Robert Haney and Mary McDonald Haney. She loved her grandchildren, animals, and playing the piano. Mrs. Hosier was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Kevin L. Hosier and granddaughter, Tiffany DeFoor.

Survivors include her husband, David Hosier; son, David S. (Pam) Hosier; daughter, Kelly A. (Brandon) York; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bernhardt Funeral Home to help with expenses.
