Mr. Melvin Wade Pierson, age 86 of McDonough, GA; passed away on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at the North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA.

Wade was born on June 6th, 1938 in Fulton County to the late Hubert Pierson and the late Lena Mae Brannan. He proudly served our nation in the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by is loving wife, Irene McClure Pierson, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Cecil Townley officiating. Graveside Interment followed in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen served as pall bearers: Chris Paravate, Ryan Paravate, Michael McClure, Austin McClure, Robert Collett, and Tyler Bennett.

Donations may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund in memory of Mr. Melvin Wade Pierson.
