Mr. Michael Benjamin Alfieri, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton, GA.

Mr. Alfieri was born on September 13th,1952, in Bay Shore, NY, to Benjamin Alfieri and Christine Portelli. He graduated from Islip High School in Long Island, NY. He worked for Automated Home Services in Miami for 30+ years and had since retired.

Mike had lived in New York, Florida, California, Alaska and finally settled in Ellijay, Georgia.

Mr. Alfieri's family will remember him as being there for them whenever they needed him. He was a strong man with a sarcastic sense of humor until the end. Mike loved his animals Roscoe and Chloe and the late Ginger.

Mike had many interests such as gardening, Sci-Fi (a Trekkie at heart), fantasy books and movies, woodwork, stamp/coin collecting, playing video games, gemstones and crystals, jewelry making, playing sudoku and many more.

He is survived by his wife, Sheryl; his daughter, Michelle; his son, Michael Jr and daughter-in-law Robyn; his daughter Jamie and son-in-law Donovan; also, his grandchildren, Tianna, Christian, Benjamin, Quentin, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Nick and Anthony.

Mike is preceded in death by his great-granddaughter Kalilah.

Mr. Alfieri's wishes were to be cremated and the family will have a private service.
