Mr. Michael Robert Hillhouse, age 52 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025.

Mr. Hillhouse was born on December 18th, 1972 in Canton, GA to the late James Michael Hillhouse and Janice Lloyd Hillhouse. He was a dedicated plumber with Masterflo. To his family and friends, he was the kind of man who showed up—whether someone needed a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply a good laugh.

He lived a life filled with the things he loved most. He found peace in the woods while hunting, joy on the golf course, and strength in weight training. Whether he was out on the water boating or casting a line to fish, he embraced every moment outdoors. He loved the thrill of riding and taking out the ATVs, always eager for the next adventure and never turning down a chance to have fun.

Above all, he treasured the people around him. His family was his greatest pride, and his friends were like an extension of his heart. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his laughter, and the way he made everyone feel at home in his presence. His legacy lives on in the countless memories he created and the love he shared so freely.

Mr. Hillhouse is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Hillhouse of Ellijay, GA; step-son, Holden Vines (Emma Heaslip) of Canton, GA; step daughter, Hannah Vines of Cumming, GA; sister, Gina Padgett of Jasper, GA, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the Life of Mr. Hillhouse will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., noon, from the Ellijay First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Mike Shearon officiating. Following the service, Mr. Hillhouse will be cremated.

The family will receive friends at the Ellijay First United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour 12:00 p.m., noon.

Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Mr. Michael Hillhouse.
