Mr. Michael Robert Hyatt, Sr., age 80 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Mr. Hyatt, Sr. was born February 3, 1945, in Dunn, NC, to the late John Marshall Hyatt and Evelyn Godwin Hyatt. Mr. Hyatt was a US Air Force Veteran and worked as a salesman for Sun Sports Cycle and Watercraft, and was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jon Hyatt.

Mr. Hyatt, Sr. is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Hyatt of the home, son, Mike Hyatt, Jr. (Ashlee), of Sedona, AZ; daughter and son-in-law, Shari Michele Garcia (Richard), of Ft. Myers, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Dean Hyatt (Polly), of Dunn, NC; sister, Marsha Patterson, of Dunn, NC; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Services to honor Mr. Hyatt will be on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay, GA. Lunch will follow in the social hall.
