Mr. Michael Allen Stansky, age 55 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 at his home.

Michael was born on April 27th, 1969 in Long Island, New York to the late Robert Stansky and the late Cheryl Gail ( Knodel ) Stansky. He was an artist and a part-time jeweler. Michael loved to camp, go to Disney World, and spend time with his nieces and nephews. Mr. Stansky is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Katharine Stansky of Ellijay, GA; daughter and fiance, Haley Stansky and Nick Staff of Jacksonville, AL; uncle, Barry Knodel of Ellijay, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbi Leigh (David) Mullins of Ellijay, GA; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

To honor Michael's wishes, he will be cremated and a Memorial Service is uncertain at this time.

In lieu of food and flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help alleviate the family with the funeral expenses.
