Mr. Michael "Tater" Vick, age 69, of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Mr. Vick was born on March 7, 1957, in Gilmer County, Georgia, to the late James Junior Vick and Alene Dorothy Davis Vick. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. Known to most everyone as "Tater," he had a remarkable talent for restoring classic automobiles and bringing them back to their original beauty through his skilled craftsmanship and painting. Tater was outgoing, free-spirited, and authentic. He was the same wherever you met him, never pretending to be anyone other than himself.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Vick of Ellijay, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Dylan (Jade) Vick of Ellijay, Shannon (Nicki) Chastain of Ellijay; daughter, Nikki Vick, of Ellijay; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie (Joann) Vick of Ellijay; 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Lane, Lucas, Kenzie, and Tate.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 19th at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Arnold and Rev. Paul Richards officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 19th from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

Flowers and Food will be accepted.
