Mr. Michael Harold Wratchford, age 72, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Mr. Wratchford was born on May 2, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a Christian man who held to his faith throughout his life. He proudly served his country in the United States Military, a time he cherished deeply, especially the years he spent living in Germany.

Michael worked for several years as a security guard, known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of his work, he had a deep love for baseball and was a devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves, always enjoying watching and supporting his team.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Roberts Wratchford; brother, Larry Wratchford; sister, Tina Wratchford; sisters-in-law, Louise Bray, Martha Fricks, and Barbara George; and brother-in-law, George Roberts.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 7th, at 1 pm from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with Military Rites by the US Army.

He leaves behind memories that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
