Mrs. Minnie Lee Stafford Nicholson passed away on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital of Jasper.

Mrs. Nicholson was born on June 26th, 1933 in Pickens County to the late Joseph Stafford and Yula Gibson Stafford. She was a carpet mender for Stratton Mills and a member of Corrinth Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nicholson is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Nicholson; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Earnest Ledford; and infant son, Joseph William Nicholson

Survivors include her children and spouses, Larry and Freddie Nicholson of Ellijay, Jerri and Terri Baker of Ellijay, Teresa and Dwight Fox of Rydal, and Pam and Brian Struzzieri of Ellijay; 19 grandchildren; and 37 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Summey and Rev. Reggie Nation officiating. Interment will follow at Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Brian Struzzieri, Ely Ruiz, Lee Ledford, Damien Baker, Johnathan Baker, and Wil Baker. Honorary Pallbearers include John Norton, Terri Baker, Dwight Fox, Hunter Nation, and Jerry Nicholson.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27th at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
