Mr. Joseph "Moes" M. Taunton, age 39 of Cherry Log, GA, passed away on Monday, January 23 ^rd , 2023 at the Northside Hospital in Cherokee.

Moes was born on March 23 ^rd , 1983 in Ft. Campbelltown, Kentucky to Jay W. Taunton (Late) and Glenda Holder Taunton. He was a member of the City of Ellijay Church and was an electrician. Moes loved to fish and play basketball.

He is survived his mother, Glenda Holder Taunton; 3 brothers, David Keith Taunton of Cherry Log, GA; Jason Alan Taunton of Cherry Log, GA, and Charles Bryan Taunton of Johns Town, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 28 ^th , 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Curtis officiating. Following the funeral service, Moes will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28 ^th , 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will be accepted food and flowers in memory of Moes Taunton.
