Mr. Morris Holden, age 91 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday April 7 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Holden was born in Gilmer County on March 7 ^th , 1931 to the late Toy Holden and Candy Stover Holden. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Annette Holden. Mr. Holden was retired from the construction industry and was a member of River Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Monnie Lee Holden; one brother, Franklin Holden; one sister, Audrey White; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday April 10 ^th , 2022 at 2 PM at Scrougetown Cemetery with Rev. Larry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in Scrougetown Cemetery. Pallbearers include: David Allen, Mickey Weaver, Bill Weaver, Johnny Henson, Charles Stepp, and Jacob Pritchett.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 9 ^th from 3 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

The family respectfully requests that no food be brought to the funeral home.
