Mr. Morris E. Miles, age 79 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025 at his home.

Mr. Miles was born on April 29th, 1946 in Chatsworth, GA to the late Evelle Miles and the late Nanlee Miles. Morris Miles, a member of Mountainview Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and hard work. Miles proudly served our nation in the United States Army. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Ruby, whom he loved dearly. Morris was a man who loved the Lord and found great joy in spending time with his family. He had a passion for working outdoors, and he worked at Peerless Carpet. His kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering faith touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Morris is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mrs. Ruby Miles of Ellijay, GA; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff (Tammy) Miles, Anthony (Pam) Miles, and Tim (Brenda) Miles all of Chatsworth, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy (Pat) Shelton of Ellijay, GA; brother, Eddie Miles of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, David and Kristen Miles, Andrew and Amber Miles, Dahlia Jasmine Arriasola, Tricia and Josh Tussing, Todd and Emily Miles, Colton and Patricia Miles, Ashton Miles, Savannah Miles, and Eddie and Mandy Harper; great-grandchildren, Tatum, Nolan, and Clay Miles, Waylon and Juddson Tussing, Mayme Miles, Eli Miles, and Hannah and Sawyer Harper also survives.

To honor Mr. Miles, he will be cremated and buried in the Yukon Cemetery at a later date.
