Mrs. Ollie Oleeta Barnes Sales, age 82 of Acworth, passed away on June 16th, 2023 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta.

Mrs. Sales was born on February 17th, 1941 in Ellijay to the late Cleve Barnes and Lillie Corbin Barnes. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sales is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Sales; three brothers, Spurgeon Barnes, Morris Barnes, and Earl Barnes; and five sisters, Verna Waddell, Nena Pritchett, Edna Crooke, Mary Ruth Chastain, and Bernice Barnes.

Survivors include her two daughters, Angela (Jonathan) Holland of Acworth and Cynthia (Brian) Wright of Dallas; five grandchildren, Alicia Argo, Jon Paul Holland, Ashley Partin, Madalyn Wright, and Logan Wright; eight great-grandchildren, Ayla Holland, Aydan Holland, Avery Holland, Caleb Argo, Wren Argo, Judson Argo, Gabe Partin, and Elijah Partin; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ruth Bullard of Powder Springs and Helen Barnes also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Tony Argo and Rev. Sammy Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Tails Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Jonathan Holland, Brian Wright, Tony Argo, Heath Partin, Jon Paul Holland, and Logan Wright.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19th from 11:00 AM until the service hour.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Ollie Sales, however, the family asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
