Mr. Otis "Dent" Defoor, age 74 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday January 5 ^th , 2021.

Mr. Defoor was born in Gilmer County on February 28 ^th , 1947 to the late Clifford Otis Defoor and Emily Marie Joyce Defoor. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Colleen Defoor and Lovell Bramlett; one brother, Autry Defoor. Mr. Defoor was a member of Harvest Missionary Church and was retired from the Pallet Mill.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Defoor; two daughters, Patricia Kendall and Renee Marrow; two brothers, Billy Wayne Defoor and Wendell Defoor; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 9 ^th , 2022 at 2 PM at Harvest Missionary Church with Rev. Glen Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 9 ^th from 1 PM until 2 PM at the church.
