Mrs. Patricia Gail Schrader, age 71 of Aragon, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 at Shepard Hills Nursing Home.

Mrs. Schrader was born on September 11th, 1952 to the late Byrd Blanton and Lucinda Shope Blanton. She met the love of her life in 1970 and they were married for a wonderful 53 years. Gail was a member of Second Baptist Church and was a strong Christian. This influenced her to be a wonderful mother and grandmother. For 27 dedicated years Gail worked as a Walmart employee. When she wasn't working she loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. For those who were lucky enough to call her a friend, she was always willing to lend a hand. Gail was a beloved friend to those who knew her and a loved wife by Barry. In addition to her parents she is preceded by one brother and five sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Barry Schrader; sons and daughters-in-law Donald and  Karrie Schrader, Chris and Lori Schrader, and Michael and Ashley Schrader; son, Robert Schrader; brother, Jack Blanton; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bill Gibson; and sister, Debbie Holets. Sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

A memorial service will held on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Flint Hill Baptist Church located at 3578 Wax Rd. Aragon, GA with Rev. David Warriner officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Mrs. Schrader's honor.
