Mrs. Patricia Tilley Sewell of Ellijay was called home on Monday January 16 ^th , 2023, age 76.  She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years Mr. Joe Sewell Sr., three daughters, Janette Henderson, Jody Conklin, Joye Rollins, and 'adopted' daughter Tonya Imler, two sons, Joe Sewell Jr. and Jason Sewell, sister Barbara Camp of Villa Rica, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Pat was born on June 19, 1946 in Atlanta, GA to the late William Tilley and Clara Prater Tilley.  In life, she was a natural born caregiver with a spirit of a warrior, a faithful wife, a dedicated mother, and an irreplaceable grandmother.  She was a kind and wonderful person with a remarkable soul and for many she was a favorite aunt.  Those lucky enough to have known her know she was never without her famous smile and a cup of coffee.  Her legendary beans and cornbread will be sorely missed.

In honor of Mrs. Sewell's wishes, she will be cremated and inurnment will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements will be conducted by Bernhardt Funeral Home.
