I n Loving Memory of Paul Cottrell

Paul Cottrell, a devoted husband, loving grandfather, and passionate enthusiast of cars and motorcycles, passed away peacefully on October 26th at the age of 67. His family, friends, and community will deeply miss him.

Born on May 18th, 1957, Paul lived a life full of adventure, love, and dedication to those he cherished most. As a husband, he was a constant source of support and joy, sharing countless memories with his beloved Fayth. Their bond was a testament to a lifetime of love, laughter, and shared dreams.

As a grandfather, Paul found immense pride and joy in his grandchildren. He was always ready with a warm smile, wise advice, or a playful story about his adventures in life. His love for them knew no bounds, and they will forever remember his gentle spirit and witty sense of humor.

An avid car and motorcycle lover, Paul spent countless hours restoring, riding, and admiring the beauty of machinery. He had a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of BMW's and the thrill of the open road on two wheels. Whether cruising through town or on a road trip, Paul was happiest behind the wheel or handlebars.

In addition to being a loving father to his stepchildren, Paul was also a devoted pet parent to his furbabies. His dogs were an important part of his life, bringing him joy, comfort, and companionship. Whether on walks or simply relaxing at home, his furbabies were always by his side, a source of unconditional love.

Paul leaves behind his adored Fayth, his cherished stepchildren, his adored grandchildren, and many dear friends. He was a man who lived life fully, always embracing the journey, and leaving a legacy of love, passion, and kindness.

In honoring Paul's memory, may we continue to find joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it's a well-cooked meal, a thrilling ride, or a quiet moment with loved ones. His spirit will forever ride with us, guiding us on our own adventures.

A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Friday, November 1st from 4 – 8 pm at Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.  Contributions can be made to Bernhardt Funeral Home.  Your support during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
