Mrs. Melba Pauline Price, age 76 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Price was born on January 2nd, 1946, in Ellijay, to the late Tom Dotson and Mattie Jewell Miller Dotson. She worked as a Psychiatric Nurse at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. After living in Kentucky for 40 years, Mrs. Price and her husband, James, moved back to Ellijay. She loved flowers and taking care of others during her time as a nurse. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price is preceded in death by several brothers.

Survivors include her husband, James Price; daughter, Sherry Lynn Price; brother, David Dotson; sister, Gladys Spivey; and one grandson, Sebastian Alexander Price; several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends also survive.

To honor her wishes, Mrs. Price will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
