Mrs. Peggy D'Ann McCall, age 65 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday December 25 ^th , 2021.

Mrs. McCall was born in San Francisco, Cal, on November 8 ^th , 1956 to the late Marquam George and Helen Golding George. Mrs. McCall was an educator with the Houston County Board of Education, where she retired with over 30 years of service. She was also a proud military wife having also taught at Department of Defense Schools during her career. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Mayflower Society. She loved her fur-babies, Riley and Mollie, and she loved watching her hummingbirds. Mrs. McCall was a compassionate, loving, selfless person, and was always concerned with the well-being of others. She was married to her swan, Darrell, for 41 years.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell McCall; one sister, Sarah Kaufman.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 6 ^th , 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6 ^th from 12 PM until 1 PM at the funeral home.
