Penny F. Bramlett, age 81 of Ellijay, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, with family by her side.

Mrs. Bramlett was born on June 14, 1944, in Gilmer County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert Hansel Nichols and Daisy Lyles Nichols. She was employed by Gilmer County Hospital and was also a cook at Country Cooking Restaurant. She was also a member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hansel Nichols and Daisy Lyles Nichols, her husband, Billy Bramlett, brother, Robert ''Bud'' Nichols, and sisters Betty James, Barbara Lambert, and Lucy Jett.

She is survived by her daughters and son, Robin (Eugene) Watkins, Angie Bramlett (Sam) Fastuca, Tony (Crystal) Bramlett, Pamela (Bobby) Jarrell, Sister-in-law, Loretta Nichols, her loving friend Sherry Dover Crisp (Little Buddy) Grandchildren, Jennifer Paulk, Justin Scott, Aspen Keel, Rachel Bramlett, and Sepp Bramlett, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 2:00 pm from the Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Parks and Rev. Tommy Sanford officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Music will be conducted by her grandson, Justin Scott. Pallbearers will be Tony Bramlett, Arlin Webb, Dallas Painter, Mike Lambert, Brian Lambert, and Steve Farist. Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Watkins, Bron Nichols, Greg Nichols, and John Nichols.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22nd, from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Friday, January 23rd, from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will both be accepted, or a donation can be made to the funeral home to help the family with final funeral expenses in memory of Mrs. Bramlett.
