Mr. Perry Lee Branyon, age 67 of Henson Rd. Blairsville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the Emory Hospital following a brief illness.

Mr. Branyon was born on July 14, 1958 in Gastonia, NC., the son of the late James Lee Branyon and the late Edith Sue Taylor Branyon. Perry retired from the East Ellijay Police Department with over twenty eight years of service. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother and grandfather. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Most of all he loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a son, Samuel Branyon who passed away in February 2025. Perry attended Revival Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Branyon are his loving wife and best friend of twenty four years, Renee Daniel Branyon of Blairsville, one son and daughter in law, Jonathan and Stacy Branyon of Isabella, TN., one sister and brother in law, Linda and Gilbert Johnson of Farner, TN., one brother, James Branyon of Dayton, TN., daughter in law, Tia Branyon of Wilmington, NC., three grandchildren, Isabella, Sparrow and Phoenix, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Doug Gaines and Rev. Tim Renshaw officiating. Special music will be presented by Heather Henderson and Carol Renshaw. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6-9:00 pm.
