Obituary

Mr. Philip Gerald Boshart, a pioneering figure in the mobile home industry, passed away at his residence on July 13, 2023. He was born on February 25, 1936, in Glenfield, New York, to Muriel Reed and Henry Boshart. With great sadness, we bid farewell to a remarkable man whose legacy will forever be cherished.

During his life, Philip accomplished many notable achievements. He proudly served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Air Force. After his military service, he pursued his passion for interior design earning his Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design and became one of the first interior designers in the mobile home industry. His creative flair and innovative designs contributed to shaping the industry in significant ways.

Devoted to his faith, Philip was an active church member through the years. His spirituality played a central role in his life, providing him with strength and guidance.

Philip will be lovingly remembered as the patriarch of his family, a role he embraced with grace and love. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support enriched the lives of his loved ones.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Boshart; sons and daughters-in-law, Carrick and Laurie Boshart and Michael and Stacey Boshart; son, Philip Boshart, daughter, Jennifer Boshart; brothers, Hank Boshart, Doug Boshart, and Ron Topa; sisters, Norma Western, and Pam Strife; four grandchildren, Kendall Patton, Camden Boshart, Olive Boshart, and Ford Boshart; and his two best friends Gordon Collins and Greg Geisler.

A visitation in honor of Mr. Philip Gerald Boshart will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Fields officiating.

As we mourn the loss of Philip, we find solace in the memories we shared and the impact he had on our lives. His spirit will forever inspire us, and his legacy will be carried on through the lives he touched. May he rest in peace knowing he made a lasting difference in the world.
