Mrs. Phyllis J. Huey, age 79 of Ellijay, passed away Thursday, December 15th, 2022 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Mrs. Huey was born on October 5th, 1943 in Clay County, WV to the late Robert Ed Adkins and Amanda Losh Adkins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Huey.

Survivors include her special friends, Idell Teasley, Tracy and Randy Watkins, Mary and Mark Henson, and John and Robin Seiwell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 20th at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Dotson and Rev. Anthony Stonecipher officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be John Seiwell, Mark Henson, Kainan Henson, Michael Henson, Randy Watkins, Doug Wix, and Kobe Stonecipher.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 19th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Food and flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Phyllis Huey.
