Obituary

Mr. Randy Farrell White, Jr., age 43, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Randy was born on September 2, 1982, in Fulton County, Georgia. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School, Class of 2001. Randy dedicated more than 27 years of service to the United States Postal Service, faithfully serving the residents of Gilmer County as a rural carrier. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic, friendly personality, and willingness to help those around him.

Above all, Randy was a devoted father who dearly loved his children and treasured every moment he spent with them. His family meant everything to him, and he never missed an opportunity to let them know how much they were loved. Randy also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace and enjoyment in spending time fishing. He was a proud Freemason and valued the friendships and principles that came with that brotherhood.

Randy was taken from this life far too soon, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. While his passing has brought great sorrow to all who knew and loved him, his life was a blessing to many. His kindness, dedication, and love for his family will never be forgotten. Though his time on earth ended much sooner than anyone expected, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Randy is survived by his mother, Teresa Beavers (Leon); his children, Jaxton White, Blakely White, and Delilah White; his sisters, Thea Jones (Jason), Brittany Beavers, and Hope Beavers; his brothers, Cage White, Eli Wishon (Sydney), Tanner Beavers, and Mason Beavers; his nephews, Carter Jones and Ethan Jones; his aunt, Robin Gibson (David); his uncle, Steve White (Teresa); his aunt, Vickie Sutton; his uncle, Danny Beck; and his special friend, Jill Mercer.

Funeral services to honor Randy's life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Kerr officiating. The Little Baptist Church Choir will provide the music for the service. Interment will follow in the Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Jones, Carter Jones, Mason Beavers, Eli Wishon, Charles Brown, and Tanner Beavers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. at Bernhardt Funeral Home.
