Mrs. Rayena Lynn McIntire Barnes, age 66 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Barnes was born on June 3rd, 1957 in Rome, GA to the late Lloyd McIntire and the late Elizabeth McIntire. She was retired from Shaw Industries.

Survivors include her loving husband, Tony Barnes of Ellijay, two sons, Justin Barnes of Ellijay and Benny Barnes of Ellijay; one brother, Dow McIntire of Ellijay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Diane Barnes of Ellijay and Billy and Cathy Ayers of Ellijay, and numerous aunts and uncles also survive.

A graveside inurnment will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 11:00 am from the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 10:00 am until 10:30 am at the funeral home.
