Mr. Robert Henry Nicholson, age 59 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday, March 30th, 2022.

Mr. Nicholson was born on January 9th, 1963 in Gilmer County to the late John Henry Pinson and Roxie Sisson Pinson. He was employed by Dover Construction. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bo Bo Pinson.

Survivors include his mother, Roxie Sisson Pinson; three daughters, Christy Sanford, Rhonda Nicholson, and Gracie Nicholson; son, Robbie Nicholson; brother, Lather Pinson; three sisters, Edith Gant, Melissa Mills, and Ann Pinson; and 17 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 3th, 2022 at 2 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Grizzle officiating. Interment will follow in Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Kevin Hayes, Zachery Hayes, Zane Hayes, Daniel Pinson, Joseph Pinson, Josh Massey, Robbie Thurman and Chris Patterson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 3 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.
