Mr. Roger Prater, age 81 of Jasper, GA, passed away on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Prater was born on November 25th, 1942 in Haralson County to the late Charlie Andrew Prater and the late Julie Miller Prater. In addition to his parents, Mr. Prater is preceded in death by his wife, Joann Eller Prater and his dog and cat.

Rogers is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Prater; son, Roger Allen Prater; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Prater; brother, Larry Prater; sister, Virginia Shoemaker, and six grandchildren also survive.

To honor Mr. Prater's wishes, he will be cremated and inurned in the Yukon Cemetery.
