Mr. Ronald "Hoss" William Walker, age 79 of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, July 29 ^th , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Walker was born on December 23 ^rd , 1942, the son of the late Harold Walker and Eunice Williams Walker. Hoss was a heavy equipment operator owned his own grading business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellijay. He was also a United States Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his twin, Donald "Duck" Walker; sister, Barbara Walker; and brother, Jimmy Walker.

Survivors include his two daughters, Maria Walker and Amelia Walker both of Ellijay. Several nieces and nephews along with extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3 ^rd at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Hester officiating. Interment will follow in the Turniptown Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Scott Holden, Tony Southern, Russell Walker, Nathan Walker, Stephen Morris, Aaron Garland, and Dusty Beane. Honorary pallbearers are: Billy Williams, Billy Simmons, Larry Hoover, Jim Walker, Travis George, Greg Brooks, Bill Northcut, Buck Peacock, Perry McKinney, and Jason Walker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2 ^nd from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. No need to dress up just come as you are.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
