Mr. James Ronald Vick, age 55 of Ellijay, passed away on Sunday, May 12th, 2024.

Mr. Vick was born on January 7th, 1969, in Pickens County, to J.R. Vick and Shirley Galloway Vick. He was a graduate of Gilmer High School and worked in construction. Mr. Vick was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Vick of the home; father, J.R. Vick of Ellijay; mother, Shirley Vick of Ellijay; three sons, Byron Prather of Montana and Ryker Vick of Ellijay, and Chey Frady; four daughters, Tiffany Leitch of Scotland, Jessica Vick of Chatsworth, Miranda Loftis of Cohutta, and Krista Terry; two sisters, Cheryl Frangipanes of Ellijay and Carrie Vick of Ellijay; and 12 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Robby Cantrell, Matt Watkins, Dustin Lathery, Stoney Smith, Tatum Cantrell, and Josh Buckner.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14th from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers and food will be accepted in memory of Mr. Ronald Vick.
