Roy Lee Crump age 81 of Talking Rock passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2024 at the Pruitt Healthcare Center in Jasper GA.

Roy was born December 10th, 1942 in Gilmer County to the late Noel and Hassie Silver Crump. He worked for the Blue Ridge Carpet for many years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, David Crump; sister, Pearl Frady, and Companion Katsuko.

Roy is survived by his brothers, Clifford (Shirley) Crump, Ellijay, Jim (Linda) Crump, Chatsworth, Sister-in-law, Peggy Crump, Talking Rock, Brother-in-law, Archie Cronan, Talking Rock, Katsukos sons James Wishon and William Wishon, granddaughter Macy Wishon Watkins, and special caregivers (nieces) and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Cronan officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Lamar Crump, Jody Crump, Chris Crump, Gerald Crump, Jeffrey Crump, Brian Crump, Stacy Crump, and James Wishon.

The family will meet with friends on Friday, September 27th, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers and food will both be accepted in memory of Mr. Roy Crump.
