1st Sgt. Roy Ronald Price, (Ret.), age 84, of Talking Rock, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 63 years, Judith Mae Price; sons Roy D. Price (Theda) of Blairsville; Timothy W. Price of Graysville, AL; Jeremy R. Price (Mandy) of Chatsworth; daughter Jennifer Anderson (Danny) of Talking Rock; sister, Jane Coffey (James) of Knoxville, TN; brother, Fred Price (Charlotte) of Belpre, OH; grandchildren: Natalie, Wayne, Joseph, Gracie, Phillip, Amanda, Ashley, Ronnie, Bethany, Eli, Josh, Becky, Josie, Griffin, Rachel and 20 great grand children.

A graveside inurnment will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 11:30 a.m. at the Georgia National Cemetery with military rites by the United States Army and an escort by the Patriot Guard Riders.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Mr. Roy R. Price to "The Wounded Warrior Project" or "Homes for our Troops."
