Mrs. Ruby A. Boger, age 85 of Gainesville, GA, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2024 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Boger was born on January 26, 1939 to her late father, Thomas Alvin Bishop and her late mother, Mildred Lily Dunlap Bishop. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Boger; son, Doug Coffield; two brothers, Thomas Bishop and Kennith Bishop; one daughter, Vickie Birch, and sister, Alice Fallen.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Doug (Trina) Boger of Bainbridge, GA, and Cecil (Dee Dee) Coffield of Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Christine (Alvin) Shelton of Gainesville; son-in-law, Bobby Birch of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Joan) Bishop of Virginia; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mrs. Boger will be held on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Minister Luke Logan officiating. Graveside Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as Pall Bearers: Ashton Darley, Will Darley, Bobby Birch, Robbie Birch, Jeff Shelton, Wesley Shelton. The following gentlemen will be serving as Honorary Pall Bearers: Tre Ash, Cecil Coffield.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted in memory of Mrs. Ruby Boger.
