Ms. Ruth Davenport, age 85 of Mt. Juliet, TN, passed away on Saturday January 15 ^th , 2022.

Ms. Davenport was born in Gilmer County on April 8 ^th , 1936 to the late Virgil Davenport and Lola Aaron Davenport. Ms. Davenport was retired from The Opry Land Hotel in Nashville. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three sons, Randall, Keith, and Dean Herendon; one daughter, Lavone Orchard; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 24 ^th , 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery.

Ms. Davenport will lie-in-state from 11 AM until 1 PM on Monday January 24 ^th at the funeral home.
