Mr. Sammy Lee Lewis, age 57 of Ellijay, passed away on Thursday February 3 ^rd , 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Lewis was born in Jasper, Ga., on December 28 ^th , 1964 to the late Coy Lewis and Margaret Ridings Lewis. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Stacy Lewis. Prior to becoming disabled, Mr. Lewis was employed at Goldkist. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Lewis; one sister, Mona Freeman (Thomas); aunt, Annie Teem; one grandchild, Dakota Martin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 7 ^th , 2022 at 1 PM in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Stover and Rev. Danny Ray officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday February 7 ^th from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home.
