Mrs. Sandra Gail Hyde Heiner, age 70 of Ellijay, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, at Northside Cherokee.

Mrs. Heiner was born in Ellijay on October 10, 1954, to the late Ralph and Georgia Anne Charles Hyde. Sandra was a member of Oak Hill Independent Church. She loved the Lord, her family, and flowers.  Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by brothers Randy and Ricky Hyde.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Brian Heiner of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Sonny Reynolds of Calhoun; brothers and sisters-in-law, Deryl and Evelean Hyde and Ronald and Linda Hyde, all of Ellijay; sister and brother-in-law, Andrea and Darryl Forehand of Hixson, TN; five grandchildren, Garrett Bohannon, Joshua Hales, Dax Prokop, Saydi Prokop and Madalyn Morrison; two great- grandchildren, Kinley Bohannon and Brooks Sampson; nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Heiner will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Ledford and Rev. Chris Henson officiating. Diane DeHart and Ronald and Linda Hyde will perform the vocals. Interment will follow in the Ellijay City Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as pallbearers: Garrett Bohannon, Joshua Hales, Dax Prokop, Stephen Henderson, Stephen Hyde, and Jason Hyde.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. However you knew Sandra, the family would be honored to have you at the visitation.
