Mrs. Shirley Sue Johnson, age 83, passed away at her daughter's home in Cohutta, GA on Monday, December 19 ^th , 2022.

She was born on December 24 ^th , 1938 to the late Harvey William Wilson and Rebecca Dale Wilson. She was a baptized and a dedicated Jehovah's Witness for 54 years. Shirley was a devoted caregiver to both the young and old. She loved being from Ellijay and living her life there. Shirley was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, and loved her family.

She is survived by Daughters, Debbera Jones and Regina Hosier; Son, Michael Wayne Johnson; sister, Cora Strickland; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21 ^st , 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Grandson, Desmond Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. Pallbearers serving include: Jason Jones, Josh Jones, Jacob Jones, Michael Johnson, Desmond Johnson, Spencer Hosier, Jordan Hosier, Travis Hosier, Kaden Hosier, Jonathan Ziegler, and Matt Bray.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 20 ^th , 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted; however, the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home.
