Mrs. Shirley A. Waters, age 76 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at her residence with family by her side.

Mrs. Waters was born February 24, 1946, in Ellijay, the daughter of the late Ed Adam Watkins and Edna Colley Watkins. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen Waters, and brother, Jerry Lee Watkins (JL).

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Fields and Rev. Chad Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the East Ellijay Church cemetery. Pall Bearers will be James Waters, Eddie Waters, Robert Waters, Johnny Waters, Cheryl Waters, and Keith Waters.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted but the family respectfully asks that no food be brought to the funeral home in memory of Mrs. Waters.
