Theresa Stover Hammett, age 66 of Zebulon, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024.

She was born June 13th, 1958 in Jacksonville Florida to the late Frank and Mary Clonts Stover. She was a homemaker and the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother anyone could ask for. She was a member of Jonesboro Baptist Tabernacle. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Stover, Daughter Selina Hammett, brother Ronald Stover, and Sister Sharon Garrett.

She is survived by her sons; Daniel Hammett, Griffin Ga; Matt Hammett (Felicia) Bowdon, GA; Justin Hammett, Ellijay GA; sisters; Kathy Patterson (Roy), Canton, GA; Sheila Franklin (Terry), Senoia, GA; Faye Stover, Canton, GA; Marcia Mills (Ricky), Ranger, GA; brother; Martin Bo Stover (Diana), Calhoun, GA; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 9th, 2024 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stover officiating. Interment will follow in the Yukon cemetery. Pall bearers serving the family will be Justin Hammett, Austin Hammett, Matt Hammett, Joseph Stone, Tyler Garrett, and Petey Cochran.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 8th, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will both be accepted in memory of Theresa Stover Hammett.
