Ms. Tia Maria Lovallo Teague, age 50 of Ellijay, GA, passed away on Friday, May 1st, 2026.

Tia was born on June 12, 1975, in Port Chester, New York, to Angelo Lovallo and Angelina Vinci Longo. She was a woman of strong faith who loved the Lord and lived her life as a reflection of that faith. Tia found great joy in traveling and shopping, always enjoying life's simple pleasures and making lasting memories along the way. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Ellijay, GA.

She was dedicated in her work as a secretary at Ellijay Primary School, where she was known for her kindness, warm spirit, and the care she showed to everyone she encountered. Above all, Tia was a devoted mother who loved her two boys with all her heart—they were her greatest blessing and the center of her world.

She is survived by her loving sons, Johnie Flakes of Acworth, GA and Angelo Lovallo (Jessica Nealey) of Ellijay, GA; father and step-mother, Angelo (Blanche) Lovallo of Talking Rock, GA; mother and step-father, Angelina (Anthony) Longo of Cos Cob, CT, and sister and brother-in-law, Lori (Greg) Irvin of Clayton, GA.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Tia will be held on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. John Reece officiating. Following the service, Ms. Tia will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Food and Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of these, donations may be made to the funeral home to help alleviate the family of the remaining expenses.
