Mr. Timothy "Tim" Hiram Pritchett, age 77 of Ellijay, passed away on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Mr. Pritchett was born on January 12th, 1947 in Gilmer County to the late Lee Pritchett and Audrey McAbee Pritchett. He was a member of the Harvest Missionary Church and proudly served our nation in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by one brother, Dr. Gary Pritchett.

Survivors include his loving wife, Tina Henry Pritchett of Ellijay; one son, Joshua Timothy Pritchett of Ellijay; one daughter, Mistil Pritchett Griffith of Ellijay; five stepchildren, Darrell Ray, Jr. of Ellijay, Justin Hall of Marietta, Christopher Hall of Marietta, Brittany Emond of Ellijay, and Lauren Marquez of Epworth; one brother, Dr. J. Larry Pritchett of Ellijay; three sisters, Nanci Craig of Charleston, SC, Emily Burrell of Ellijay, and Polly Pritchett of Ellijay, and 13 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from the Harvest Missionary Church with Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Pritchett will lie in state at the Harvest Missionary Church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
