Mr. Tommy Duckett, age 90 of Ellijay, passed away on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Duckett was born on May 3rd, 1933, in Jasper, to the late Carter Duckett and Vestie Jones Duckett. He served in the United States Army and worked in the hardwood flooring business. In addition to his parents, Mr. Duckett is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Duckett.

Survivors include his daughter, Wanda Osborne; two grandchildren, Melissa (Bobby) Pendley and Jonathan Jack Osborne; and two great-grandchildren, Lura Pendley and Derek Pendley also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Hughes, Rev. Billy Dotson, and Rev. Junior Manney. Interment will follow in Ballew Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will be Terry Osborne, Jonathan Osborne, Bobby Pendley, Clinton Blackwell, Travis Davis, and Jason Pettijohn. Honorary pallbearers are Dartis Newton, Larry Teague and Benny Weaver.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 9th from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers and food will be accepted in memory of Mr. Tommy Duckett.
