Mr. Van Farral King, age 58 of Talking Rock, GA, passed away on March 12th, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. King was born on November 22nd, 1966 in Canton, GA to the late Jessie Willard King and the late Lillian Wright King. He was a carpenter and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. King is preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn King and Annette King, and four brothers, Roger King, Stanley King, Jeff King, and Shane King.

Van is survived by his daughter, Brittany Morgan King of Talking Rock, GA; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwight (Doris) King of Canton, GA; Dean King of Jasper, GA; James King of Canton, GA, Franklin (Tammy) King of Jasper, GA, and Stacey (Sandy) King of Ranger, GA; sister, Karon Cumming of Talking Rock, GA; aunt, Dorothy Davis of Holly Springs, GA; granddaughter, Blaise Hulsey of Jasper, GA, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends also survive.

Funeral Services to honor the life of Mr. King will be held on Monday, March 17th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Franklin King and Rev. Lane Wright officiating. Chastity Owens and Steve Garland will be singing. Graveside Interment will follow in the Yukon Cemetery. The following gentlemen will be serving as Pall Bearers: Jeremy Hulsey, Nathan Clark, Wayne West, Brad King, Colby King, Michael Leonard, David Clark, and Paxton King.

The family will gather at the funeral home to receive friends on Monday, March 17th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour of 3:00 p.m.

The family will be accepting food and flowers in memory of Mr. Van King.
